Medical Imaging

Providing x-ray, OPG, ultrasound, CT and MRI services to  emergency department patients, inpatients and privately referred outpatients.

Aboriginal Maternal and Infant Health Service

Orthopaedic

Treatment or assessment of bones, muscles or joints.

Oncology service

Specialist oncology consultation, treatment and care for oncology patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapies and other supportive treatments.

Paediatric Hospital in the Home

Specialist service to help children avoid hospital admission or allow admitted children to go home earlier.

Monday- Friday: 6:00pm to 11:00pm.
Saturdays: 1:00pm to 11:00pm.
Sundays and public holidays: 9:00am to 11:00pm.Specialised services including paediatric services, diabetes education, child and adult psychiatry, child protection counselling.

Dental

Dental care to all children (under 18years of age) and eligible adults.

Taking pictures of your body with a variety of methods. Includes X-Ray, MRI, CT scans, Ultrasound.

Where you go to get a blood test,  and other services including:
- Blood pressure and ECG testing
- Glucose Tolerance tests ( By appointment only)

Renal Dialysis

Treatment to support kidney function.
Haemodialysis is the treatment for people with end stage kidney disease.
All referrals and initial appointments are managed by the John Hunter Hospital Nephrology Department.
