Health professionals across HNE Health are involved in extensive clinical and laboratory research programs, many of them in conjunction with the Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI).
Hunter New England Local Health District’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workforce has grown from 190 staff in 2008 to 730 staff in 2018.
