The Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI), have now opened applications for School 3, 2023 Graduate Certificate (Clinical Redesign)
Applications may not be considered for submission to ACI by HNELHD unless an Notification of Intent (NOI) has been submitted (by a HNE Employee) to the HNE Research Office by COB Thursday 30 March 2023.

Sixth Australian Nursing and Midwifery Conference
The Conference is hosted by Hunter New England Local Health District, Central Coast Local Health District, Mid North Coast Local Health District and The University of Newcastle on 4 and 5 May 2023. This conference provides a forum for Nursing and Midwifery clinicians, researchers and educators to share knowledge and celebrate experiences of innovative Nursing and Midwifery led projects relating to clinical care, education and research. Clinical Nurse / Midwife Consultant Research Intern Program
The 2023 Clinical Nurse / Midwife Consultant Research Intern Program is being offered and led by the HNELHD Nursing and Midwifery Research Centre (NMRC), in partnership with academics from the University of Newcastle. The Clinical Research Intern Program is targeted toward CNC/CMCs working in HNELHD interested in/responsible for conducting research within their roles. The program will support successful applicants in building research skills and literacy through participation in applied clinical research and mentoring. Research interns will develop their skills in researching clinical practice issues, translation and implementation research methods. Detail information is available in the flyer.
Nursing & Midwifery Research Peer Support
Join others like you, who are currently undertaking a research higher degree (RHD) or conducting research within HNELHD. These groups are facilitated by the Nursing and Midwifery Research Centre and bring together nurses and midwives to share their experiences and support each other while undertaking research. Health Workforce Scholarship Program
The Health Workforce Scholarship Program (HWSP) provides scholarships and bursaries to help health professionals in rural and remote Australia retain and enhance their skills, capacity and scope of practice. The Program is an initiative of the Australian Government Department of Health, administered in New South Wales by NSW Rural Doctors Network (RDN).
The HWSP is available to medical, nursing, midwifery, allied health, dental and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health professionals providing primary health care in the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHS) sector, non-government organisations and private practice.
