Health Professionals Research Education Program [HPREP]

Healthcare Transformation Research Program online training workshops

The Healthcare Transformation Research Program has secured the services of iThinkwell to deliver a series of online training workshops for clinician and academic researchers to assist with academic writing, making time for research and communicating the impact of research.

iThinkwell is an organisation that has a long history working with Australian universities delivering impactful training to PhD students and academics. Click here for more information.

Nursing & Midwifery Research Peer Support

Join others like you, who are currently undertaking a research higher degree (RHD) or conducting research within HNELHD. These groups are facilitated by the Nursing and Midwifery Research Centre and bring together nurses and midwives to share their experiences and support each other while undertaking research. Health Workforce Scholarship Program​

The Health Workforce Scholarship Program (HWSP) provides scholarships and bursaries to help health professionals in rural and remote Australia retain and enhance their skills, capacity and scope of practice. The Program is an initiative of the Australian Government Department of Health, administered in New South Wales by NSW Rural Doctors Network (RDN).

The HWSP is available to medical, nursing, midwifery, allied health, dental and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health professionals providing primary health care in the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHS) sector, non-government organisations and private practice.
