Nursing and Midwifery Research Centre
The Hunter New England Nursing and Midwifery 
Research Centre (NMRC) supports practice-based research across the District.
The NMRC aims to:
- Support and facilitate nurses and midwives to undertake clinical research that enhances evidence-based practice in health service delivery, patient experience and outcomes.
- Provide leadership to strengthen the Nursing and Midwifery research culture within the organisation.
- Contribute to building and strengthening systems and processes to support nurses and midwives undertaking research and research translation.
