The Maitland Hospital is located at 51 Metford Rd, Metford, 2323.

Car

From Newcastle:

Travel along the A43 (New England Highway)  towards Maitland.

Turn right at Chelmsford Drive in East Maitland.

From Chelmsford Dr turn left into Metford Road. On Metford road, at roundabout take the 3rd exit to access the hospital site.

From Rutherford:

Travel along the A43 (New England Highway) towards Newcastle.

Turn left at Chelmsford Drive in East Maitland.

From Chelmsford Dr turn left into Metford Road. On Metford road, at roundabout take the 3rd exit to access the hospital site.

Public transport

Train: The closest train station is Victoria Street Station accessible on the Hunter line.  To continue to the hospital via bus …… take bus to ….It is a ..... minute (.....m) walk from the train station to the hospital.

Bus: The bus stop to and from the hospital is located within the hospital near the Main entrance. Follow the signage to the main entrance, approx. 2 minute walk.

If you are accessing the Emergency department, proceed past the main entrance to the Emergency department.

Taxi: There are 3 taxi drop off and pick up locations (see on map)  outside the Emergency department entrance, outside the main entrance and outside the entry to the Outpatient clinics.

Drop off zones: There are 3 patient drop off and pick up locations (see on map)  outside the Emergency department entrance, outside the main entrance and outside the entry to the Outpatient clinics.  There is bench seating available for patients/visitors to wait on at each drop off zone.
