A capacity building program that seeks to support established and emerging researchers/improvement professionals to become the research and improvement leaders of the future.

The purpose of the HNELHD CHSRFS is to:

  • Build HNE clinical and health service research capability and leadership by supporting and providing resources to backfill substantive positions to allow HNE Healthcare Professional/Clinicians to engage in relevant health service/clinical research and related professional development opportunities.
  • Enable high-quality clinically relevant research that aligns with HNELHD priorities to improve patient, health outcomes and service efficiencies locally, nationally and internationally.
  • Contribute to a culture of research and evidence-based improvement in HNELHD whereby research activity and evidence becomes integral to the provision of evidence-based care and improvement initiatives.
