Welcome to John Hunter Hospital Intensive care Unit.
Our goal is to provide you and/or your relative with high quality healthcare. Our staff behaviours and interactions with patients, their families and carers, are based firmly on our agreed values of collaboration, openness and respect. We expect the visitors and patients to also help us by communicating and behaving with total respect towards our staff.
Visiting policy
We believe family and friends are a very important part of our patient’s wellbeing.
In normal times our visiting times are from 10 am to 6 pm with 2 visitors allowed at any giving time bedside.
However, during this difficult COVID times, the visiting to Intensive Care is NOT permitted unless under very special circumstances.
