Staying connected with your support networks such as family, friends, colleagues and other supports via email, text, social media, video conferencing technology or telephone can help to reduce feelings of isolation and pass the time. Connecting and communicating with others can help to relieve stress, anxiety, feelings of loneliness and boredom and may help to promote positive mental health.
