HNE Health Libraries Research Support

If you're participating in an innovation scholarship project, developing a guideline, undertaking a systematic review or meta-analysis, or are a higher degree student, Librarians can support you or your team in a number of ways. Please visit the HNE Health Libraries website for more information.

Rural Research Collaborative Learning Network (RR-CLaN)

The RR-CLaN is a rural-led initiative that aims to provide high quality research education and training to healthcare staff working in rural, regional and remote areas. Our aim is to provide you with the education and training opportunities to build key skills in how to use and undertake research to improve healthcare delivery.

All staff are welcome to register and join the free online education sessions running each month throughout 2023. These sessions will also be recorded for future viewing and can be accessed via the link below once available.

Collaborators are:

Central Coast, Far West, Hunter New England, Illawarra Shoalhaven, Mid North Coast, Murrumbidgee, Nepean Blue Mountains, Northern NSW, Southern NSW, Western NSW Local Health Districts as well as HETI and the Tropical Australian Academic Health Centre.

Health Professionals Research Education Program (HPREP)

The HNE Research Office in partnership with the University of Newcastle's Research Advantage program deliver free education sessions designed to provide information and practical advice for Clinician Researchers, Clinicians and Managers.

Every session is available via video-conference and live streaming as well as recorded for future viewing.

Associate Professor Victoria Steelman, University of Iowa, introduces the Iowa Model for Evidence Based Practice which is a tool to help staff implement evidence into routine practice.
