Ashford

Ashford is a quiet and rural New England town with close access to the beautiful Kwiambal National Park, which lies north-west to the town. Full of beautiful wildlife, peaceful rivers and camping and picnic facilities at Lemon Flat. Fishing and nature walks allows for the scenery to be best enjoyed with the Limestone Caves, Macintyre Falls and Pindari Dam all to be experienced. The small community bands around the local K-12 public school, shops, recreation and entertainment facilities. Ashford is also the hub of a large agricultural industry with the surrounding areas being used for sheep and cattle farming

Ashford's community health services provide many of its locals with care in Aboriginal health, Audiometry, Community nursing, Diabetes education, Dietetics, Occupational therapy, Palliative care, Speech pathology and Women's health.

Armidale

Armidale is set high on the beautiful Northern Tablelands and is known for its beautiful tree lined streets and magnificent autumn colours. It is located mid way between Sydney and Brisbane on the New England Highway with an abundance of transport options between the major cities. You can enjoy alfresco cafes, impressive architecture, a variety of arts and cultural activities and places of worship. The region offers diversity in outdoor activities such as bushwalking in the nearby World Heritage listed National Parks offering spectacular gorges and waterfalls in Australia. Armidale is an educational centre featuring a university, as well as public and private schools, each providing a level of education comparable to any capital city in Australia. There is also plenty of child care options and children's services for families in the area. Armidale offers a wide variety of affordable housing options ensuring new residents can enjoy the rural community.

Armidale Hospital is a ninety nine bed facility providing a comprehensive range of services including acute medical and surgical services, obstetrics, paediatrics and a range of diagnostic and allied health services. There is also a busy emergency department, a high dependency unit, mental health unit and renal dialysis unit. The referral community of the area is 55,200.

Medical services coverage include respiratory, cardiac, chemotherapy and palliative care. Visiting speciality services offered include renal and oncology. These services are supported by four local specialist physicians and several general practitioners.   Surgical services include general, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology and ophthalmology. The hospital is a spacious, modern and well-equipped with the most recent development opening in 2019.

Bundarra

Bundarra is on the banks of the Gwydir River on the Thunderbolt's Way in the New England region of NSW. With a surrounding area population of under 1000 people there is one school offering both the primary and high school curriculum. The area is scenic offering camping and fishing in this strong grazing part of the state.  

The Bundarra community health services provide care in Aboriginal health, Audiometry, Community nursing, Diabetes education, Dietetics, Occupational therapy, Palliative care, Speech pathology and Women's health.

Emmaville/Vegetable Creek

Emmaville is a small village of just over 500 residents located on the Northern Tablelands of the New England Region of NSW. The granite mountainous area of Emmaville offers amazing bushwalking experiences where many of the surrounding national parks and rainforests can be enjoyed. Emmaville also has a deep mining history where a mining museum and the ruins of the Ottery arsenic mine can be found. The main industries of the town are farming and mining and also offer a preschool and combined primary and high school.

The nineteen bed Multi-Purpose Service provides services in emergency, acute medical and aged care.

Glen Innes

Glen Innes is located on the intersection between the New England Highway and the Gwydir Highway 94km north of Armidale. The area is rich in minerals and agriculturally is a large producer of wool, sheep and beef as it has been since settlement. Home of the Australian Standing Stones and the World Heritage Washpool National Park Glen Innes has something for everyone. The population of over five thousand is a friendly and welcoming community offering an affordable selection of accommodation and variety of education and child care options to match the majestic landscape. There is plenty of transport available to major cities, but residents can enjoy restaurants, arts and cultural acitivites and places of worship in the local area.

The twenty eight bed hospitalprovides a wide range of acute and community health services including general medicine and surgery, maternity, pediatrics, geriatric, palliative care and rehabilitation.

The community health service of Glen Innes provides services across community nursing, child and family health, mental health and drug and alcohol counselling. Clinics within the facility include a foot clinic, dietitian, cardiac rehabilitation, speech therapy and audiometry.

Guyra

Guyra is set amongst national forests with stunning waterfalls and has a population heading towards 2000. Nature can be experienced when fishing, bushwalking, rock climbing, kayaking and horse riding through a land carved by volcanoes. Previously a dairy farming community, agriculture has branched out to cropping, especially for tomatoes and potatoes. Primary and secondary school students are catered for with the central school.

Guyra MPS is a modern, architecturally designed 22-bed facility that opened in 2006. It provides a range of inpatient and outpatient services including an emergency department, five acute care beds and residential aged care comprising seventeen high care beds. The co-located Community Health Centre operates each week day offering a range of primary care services including generalist community health nursing, wound clinic, foot clinic, palliative care services, child, youth and family services and an Aboriginal Liaison Officer.

Inverell

Inverell is scenically situated in a valley on the Macintyre River on the Gwydir Highway on the western edge of the New England Tablelands. The main service town is 127km north west of Armidale and 571km from Sydney. There is a range of transport options to these towns. The pleasant climate, with warm summers and mild winters has a range of experiences including boutique shopping, cultural events, outdoor exploration and natural beauty. The Sapphire city has a population of over sixteen thousand Inverell has an assortment of schools, recreational activities and a great place to try your luck fossiking or outdoors in nature. Inverell also provides a variety of child care centres, places of worship and accommodation options for residents in the area making it the perfect rural community new residents.

Inverell is located in New England's North West and comprises of a fifty two bed hospital and a community health centre on the same campus. In becoming part of a multidisciplinary, Allied Health team you will service the area with a regional population of eighteen thousand. The hospital is currently undergoing redevelopment which will deliver a new purpose-built facility with a connection to the existing hospital. It will include a Medical Inpatient Unit with paediatric and maternity zones, a Renal Dialysis Unit, Emergency Department, new theatre, and medical imaging facility. The project will also deliver a new patients and family room, main entrance, kiosk, reception area and improved car parking.

The community health services include: Aboriginal health, asthma, audiometry, mental health, diabetes, dietetics, occupational therapy, palliative care, pathology and women's health.

Tenterfield

Tenterfield sits astride the Great Dividing Range at the northern end of the New England Highway 18kms from the Queensland border and a three hour drive from Brisbane.  Surrounded by national parks and vineyards the town is also a a historical paradise, with schools, child care centres, dining options and places of worship. There is also a wide variety of accommodation options, ensuring suitable housing for all new residents to the area.

The eighteen bed acute hospital provides a 24-hour emergency department and services in heart, gastroenterology, general medicine, general surgery, infectious diseases, mental health, respiratory and radiology.
Community health services covering a range of support in allied health, aboriginal, women's and child and family health, immunisation, mental health and nursing.

Tingha

Tingha is a small town on the Northern Tablelands of NSW 76km north west of Armidale, established after the discovery of tin in 1870. The area is well known sheep farming region, 26 km south of Inverell, with a local primary school and options to live in the country or the town of a thousand.

Tingha MPS is a small unit providing care to the local community of a thousand. With eight aged care beds and a respite bed there is also the provision of around the clock first aid care. With community health services visiting the area weekly. 

Uralla

Uralla is a classic country town with a population of almost 3000, the home of Thunderbolt's grave and some luscious grazing land. Uralla is one thousand meters above sea level bringing with it cold winters and mild summers – perfect land for cool climate wines or exploring 20 national parks within a two hour drive radius. There are two primary schools in this town, 23kms south west from Armidale with wool, beef and grain farming still prominent in the region.

Uralla's community health service delivers a number of care support in child and family health as well as school immunisation. A number of visiting services are also provided involving home nursing, clinical psychology, drug and alcohol, social work and speech pathology.
