Barraba

Barraba is a region rich in primary produce with stunning weather movements down the Nandewar ranges and is a bird watching paradise. Located an hour's drive north of Tamworth, this intimate town has a strong community feel and genuinely nice country people. Educational facilities, specialised shopping options and low cost housing make Barraba an ideal place to base yourself and your family.  Surrounded by national parks, recreational activities are in abundance with a myriad of sports, bushwalking, bird watching and water activities on nearby Split Rock Dam. The town is also an arts and culture hub and has a range of places of worship to suit every family.  Barraba has two primary schools, a high school and preschool with easy access to transport locally and to major cities.

Barraba's Multi-Purpose Centre is a twenty two bed facility providing services in emergency and acute care, community health and aged care to over a thousand residents in the local area. The service environment also supports allied health, diversional activities and an outreach day centre.

Gunnedah

Gunnedah is located in the heart of the Namoi Valley on the fertile Liverpool Plains 79km west of Tamworth and 432km north west of Sydney. The region is devoted to the production of cotton, coal, beef, lamb, pork and various cereals. The town comes to life every August with the AgQuip, Australia's leading agriculture show. Gunnedah is the self-proclaimed Koala Capital of the World with a population nearing 8,000. Tamworth is a forty five minute drive away with flights to major capital cities daily. Gunnedah has two pre-schools, four primary schools, two secondary schools and a school for children with special intellectual and physical needs. Gunnedah offers many housing options for new residents, a range of restaurants, cultural activities and places of worship for those in the local community.

The forty eight bed community acute facility with services in obstetrics and surgery. It offers a wide range of services including cardiac rehabilitation, community nursing, child and family health, dental, mental health, drug and alcohol counselling, palliative care, rehabilitation and therapy services, physiotherapy and speech pathology.

Manilla

Manilla is a small town on the Fossickers Way, a forty five drive northwest of Tamworth. With a population of over two thousand people it rests on the junction between the Namoi and Manilla River. The beautiful local area is a sheep and wheat farming paradise, as well as offering one of the world's best launch sites for hang gliding and paragliding. The mountain also accommodates other aviation sports such as ultralight aircraft, gyrocopters and gliders.

The Manilla Health Service offers fifty six beds providing care for medical, acute, aged, obstetric, nursery, paediatric, long stay, respite and palliative services as well as a twenty four hour emergency department. The facility offers a range of support services including asthma and diabetes education, cardiac rehabilitation and other support services.

Nundle

Nundle, with a population of three hundred people, is at the foothills of the Great Dividing Range 10km from Hanging Rock up a 600m elevation. Wool and fish are the prominent industries in this town 56 km south east from Tamworth that offers sporting pursuits of golf, pony club, golf, bowling and tennis as well as a pre and primary school.

Nundle's community health offering provides community nursing services from a nurse practitioner providing direct nursing care, assessment, referral, support and advice. 

Premer

Premer is on the southern edge of the Liverpool Plains and is home to over 200 people and features a small primary school. The town is in the heart of wheat country, although sheep and cattle are also found grazing in the local region.

The community health service at Premer offers community nursing with a range of other extensive outreach services from Quirindi. 

Quirindi

Quirindi is located in the heart of the Liverpool Ranges at the foothills of the Great Dividing Range. A four hour drive from Sydney and fifty minutes from Tamworth, Quirindi is situated midway between the famous wine growing area of the Hunter Valley and the cooler climate vineyards of the New England region. The well-known as being an agricultural rich area producing olives, sunflowers, sorghum, canola, corn, barley, chickpeas, faba beans, soybeans, maize, lucerne, wheat and cotton. The region, rich grazing area,  includes Werris Creek and the villages of Blackville, Caroona, Currabubula, Pine Ridge, Premer, Spring Ridge, Wallabadah and Willow Tree. The area boasts a lot of heritage – a rail museum, heritage village, historical cottage and a museum set on the  sweeping plains of distinct black soil. With a population of over two and a half thousand there are public and primary private school options and plenty of child care options within an hours drive from Tamworth. Quirindi also has many housing options, a range of local restaurants and a variety of places of worship that ensure a convenient and refreshing rural lifestyle.

The Quirindi Health facility offers a range of acute and community based services integrating General Practitioner and community health services. The facility has fourteen clinical rooms, twenty acute, three ED beds, an imaging department and a range of allied health and nursing staff providing services in:

Tamworth​

Tamworth is a beautiful, vibrant and prosperous regional city approximately 500km north of Sydney and 600km south of Brisbane; the city covers 184 square kilometres. Tamworth is the "capital city" of the New England North West region of NSW, serving around 182,000 people. An agricultural area for lamb, wool, beef and various pastures, the temperate climate will allow you to experience all the seasons. Tamworth's community is very welcoming – especially if you love sports as they boast over 150 sporting groups and for those relaxation periods make the most of the food , coffee, shopping and arts and culture activities on offer, whilst the smaller communities surrounding the area are great for day trips. Affordable housing, a wide selection of schools and child care, places of worship and infrastructure make Tamworth a great place to be based.

Tamworth Hospital was redeveloped, opening in 2014 as a rural referral hospital with two hundred and eighty eight beds. As the second largest acute hospital facility within the HNE Health area it features a 24-hour emergency department, four operating theatres, diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization laboratory, intensive care, coronary care, rehabilitation services (including   brain injury), a diabetes centre, mental health unit, renal services, paediatrics, maternity, oncology, radiology and pathology.

The Community Health Centre providing a range of community based health services including: Child and Family Health, Community nursing, diabetic services, hearing services, aged care assessment, alcohol & other drugs service, palliative care, podiatry, respiratory services, women's and sexual health.

Walcha

Walcha is home to some of Australia's most rugged terrain and is located on the New England Tablelands, 1,067 metres above sea level. Located 64km from Armidale and 112 from Tamworth. The region is well known for its fine wool, being one of the largest stock carrying areas in NSW. Come and explore Apsley Waterfalls, Tia Waterfalls, Budds Mare Lookout, Riverside, Werrikimbe and Willi Willi National Parks with bushwalking, camping and 4WDing. The area has two primary schools, a high school, a preschool and an expanding timber industry. Walcha is also a thriving art and cultural hub, with a variety of transport options to and from major cities, affordable housing and places of worship to suit all your living needs.

Walcha MPS is a twenty seven bed facility providing coverage in general medical, emergency and residential aged care. You would be required to provide care across the fifteen residential aged care patients, nine sub-acute beds and two dedicated ED beds. The service has a GP VMO who provides support during the day and after hours with a back up service being offered by the STAH doctor service.

Community services offered include  Women's, Oral, Mental and Aboriginal Health as well as podiatry, Aboriginal Health, Early Childhood, Early Intervention, Community Nursing, Physiotherapy, Immunisation and palliative care.

Werris Creek

Werris Creek is overlooked by Mount Terrible and lies on the flourishing Liverpool Plains. Located just over half an hour drive from Tamworth and ten minutes from Quirindi, Werris Creek has a primary school, a child care centre and a population of 1500. Werris Creek also has some local dining options, places of worship and plenty of housing options for residents. There is also transport options available for residents to travelling to surrounding towns and major cities.

Werris Creek's has a fourteen bed MPS providing general medical care, aged care and community health services. The facility was purpose built with the completion date in 2012.
