High Value Health Care Awards & Achievement Awards
We all know that life in health can be incredibly fast paced. There are hundreds of demands coming at us from all angles and not a lot of time to just stop and reflect on what we’ve achieved to improve services and patient care.
That’s why it’s important to pause and celebrate good work and recognise that the health system is made up of dedicated people who are innovative thinkers and always striving to do better for our patients and our communities.
This year, the Hunter New England Health Excellence Awards will feature both the High Value Health Care Awards (formerly known as Quality Awards) and the Staff Achievement Awards. These awards celebrate the pinnacle of clinical excellence, quality, innovation and outstanding achievement across the Hunter New England Health District and are the filter to the NSW Health Awards which are held in October.
The 2017 Hunter New England Health Excellence Awards will be presented at a gala dinner celebration in August 2017 at Newcastle City Hall. It's a wonderful night bringing together our Board, Executive, Staff, volunteers and speakers. To reserve your seat, you must first submit an entry. So get nominating.
The Achievement Awards celebrate our top performing staff, volunteers and teams from across Hunter New England Health and reflect the organisation’s commitment to Excellence for every patient, every time.
