COMMUNITY HOSPITAL
Wingham Community Hospital a sixteen bed rehabilitation unit and provides rehabilitation and dementia specific care for older persons. It includes a hydrotherapy pool, riverview lodge and a sixteen bed residential confused and disturbed elderly (CADE) unit. Allied Health services provided on campus include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology and social work. Acute emergency services are not available on this campus.

Hours of operation
Wingham Community Hospital operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Normal business hours are 8:00am – 4:30pm weekdays.

Visiting hours
Rehabilitation Unit:
10:00am –12:00pm and 2:00pm – 8:00pm. Visitors are requested to sit in the waiting area wait whilst patients receive therapy or have meals in the dining room. Meal times are 7:45am-8:00am, 11:45am-12:30pm, 4:45pm- 5:30pm.

Rest period between 1:00pm – 2:00pm.

Parking
Parking is available in the campus car park and along Bungay Road, no time restrictions apply.

Disabled access
Wingham Community Hospital is accessible for visitors with disabilities. Drop off and pick up points are available close to the front entrance of both units.

Hospital Auxiliary Service
Wingham Community Hospital Auxiliary Service plays a major role in fund raising for equipment for the Campus. Meeting is held every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 2:00pm to 3:30pm afternoon tea is included.
