COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRE
The Eastlakes Community Health Centre was officially opened in 1975 providing services for the needs of the community. The catchment area incorporates 27 suburbs on the eastern side of Lake Macquarie commencing at the suburb of Highfields and ending at the suburb of Nords Wharf.

Whilst access to all services is offered by the Community Health Service (Greater Newcastle Sector) the following services are housed at the Eastlakes Community Health Centre:

  • Community Nursing Service
  • Continence Service
  • Occupational Therapy/Home Modifications
  • Community Nutrition Unit
  • Psychology
  • Social Work
  • Speech Pathology
  • Child and Family Health Service
  • Drug and Alcohol Counselling
  • Physiotherapy
  • Needle Exchange Program

The centre is open 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday excluding Public Holidays

Parking
A disabled car park is located adjacent to the entry of the facility. A limited number of car parking spaces are available in the car park. Parking is available in South & Cherry Streets.

The centre is wheelchair accessible and there are no steps in the facility.
