NARRABRI DISTRICT HEALTH SERVICE

Narrabri District Health Service is a 38-bed community acute facility with district level services in obstetrics and surgery. The health service cares for patients in the western area of the state with a referral population as far west as Brewarrina and Lightning Ridge.

Hours of operation
24 hrs a day, 365 days a year.
Business hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm weekdays
Community Health - 8:30am - 5:00pm

Visiting hours
Parents/guardians of children - Anytime
Other visitors - 11:00 am - 8:00 pm
Maternity - Husbands/partners can visit anytime.
Mothers rest period from 1:00 - 3:00 pm.

Free hospital parking on Cameron and Gibbons Street.

Disabled access
Designated disabled parking can be found at the front of the district health service. There are ramps into main entrance and Emergency Department entrance.

Relatives accommodation
Short term accommodation is available in the Rotary Cottage. The cottage is located on the district health service grounds and is self-contained. There are six beds within two rooms and bookings can be made by calling (02) 6799 2800.

Auxiliary services and volunteers
A kiosk is operated during the weekdays from 9:30am to 2:00pm by volunteers of the United Hospital Auxiliary.
