MOREE DISTRICT HEALTH SERVICE

Moree Hospital provides acute medical, surgical and maternity inpatient services. Emergency Department, chemotherapy services and a range of diagnostic imaging (x-ray and ultrasound) and pathology services are available to non inpatients.

Hours of operation
Moree Hospital operates 24 hours per day, every day of the year.
Normal business hours are 8:30am until 5:00pm weekdays.

Visiting hours
Wards - Visitors are welcome between 10:00am and 12:00 midday, and between 2:30pm and 8:00pm.

Maternity Unit- Rest period 12:00 midday until 2:30 pm.

Children's Ward- Parents and guardians of children allowed anytime

Parking
Parking is available free of charge in main hospital car park entrance off Alice Street.

Disabled access
The Moree Hospital is accessible for visitors with a disability. Disabled parking spaces available adjacent front entrance in car park, and near Community Health entrance on Alice Street.

Relatives accommodation
There is no accommodation available on site at the health service.

Auxiliary services and volunteers
The United Hospital Auxiliary operate a Kiosk on-site weekdays 10am until 2pm. This Kiosk provides range of hot and cold meals, snacks and drinks.
