Other services at the site include Centre for Psychotherapy, Centre for Mental Health, Hunter Institute for Mental Health, Hunter New England Mental Health management and management of the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services together with Neuropsychiatry Service outpatient service, court liaison and MERIT (a service of Hunter New England Drug and Alcohol Services).
Medical services are provided by consultant psychiatrist, trainee psychiatrists and junior medical staff.
Hours of operation
James Fletcher Hospital operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Normal business hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm weekdays.
Visiting hours
Visiting is not restricted, although visitors are advised to check that visiting does not clash with planned therapy.
Parking
There is limited parking in the grounds or in surrounding streets, and a fee may be charged.

There is disabled parking available and the main patient area is on ground level.
