Guyra Multi-Purpose Service

Guyra Multi-Purpose Service is a 22 bed facility, including acute hospital care and high level residential aged care. The Multi-Purpose Service incorporates an Emergency Department including emergency x-Ray facilities. The Community Health Service provides community nursing, child and family services and a wound clinic 5 days per week, as well as a part-time physiotherapist and an Aboriginal Liaison officer. Visiting services include women's health, counselling and therapy services.
Hours of operation
The Guyra MPS operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Normal business hours are 8:30am - 4:30pm weekdays.
Community Health services are available Monday-friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
Visiting hours are from 11:00am to 7:45pm daily, arrangements outside these hours can be made with management.

General parking is available in the main car park at the front of the MPS or on Sole Street.

Disabled car parking bays are available in the main car park at the front of the MPS.

Auxiliary services and volunteers
United Hospital Auxiliary members conduct fundraising activities throughout the year. They meet on the first Wednesday of every month at the MPS. Volunteers assist in the residential aged care.
