GUNNEDAH DISTRICT HEALTH SERVICE

Gunnedah Hospital is a 48-bed district health facility with services in emergency, obstetrics and surgery. It offers a wide range of services including cardiac rehabilitation, community nursing, child and family health, mental health, drug and alcohol counselling, palliative care, rehabilitation and therapy services, speech pathology, occupatoinal therapy, counselling services as well as many other visiting services. The Health Service also provides public dental, dental therapy services and physiotherapy.

Hours of operation
24 hrs a day, 365 days a year.
Business hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm weekdays

Visiting hours
Parents/guardians of children - Anytime
Other visitors - 11:00am - 8:00pm
Maternity - Husbands/partners can visit anytime. Mothers rest period from 1:00pm - 3:00pm.

Parking
Free hospital parking via Marquis Street and Anzac Parade entrances.

Disabled access
Designated disabled parking near the Emergency Department entrance. There are ramps into the main entrance to Administration and to the Emergency Department entrance.
