Roma Ward provides a range of services including 24 hour emergency department, medical, surgical, palliative care, limited obstetrics, limited paediatrics, x-ray and physiotherapy. Minor general surgery and ophthalmic (eye) surgery is also undertaken at Gloucester Hospital.
Hillcrest Nursing Home and Narraweema Ward are both Commonwealth funded aged care facilities which provide a combined total of 40 aged care beds ( 25 in Hillcrest and 15 in Narraweema) servicing clients that require high level care in meeting all daily living activities and social needs with 24-hour nursing coverage.
Kimbarra Lodge Hostel services permanent low level care residents in self contained units in a homelike environment.
Hours of Operation
Gloucester Health Campus operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Normal business hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm weekdays.
Visiting Hours
Visiting hours are open, but it's recommended that visitors do not arrive prior to 10:00am due to Medical Officers finishing their rounds. It is recommended that 8:00pm is the end of visiting time, but the Nurses in charge are very understanding and approachable if longer visits are necessary.
Maternity Ward: There is no visiting between 1:30pm and 2:30pm due to a quiet \ rest time for patients in this area. The same recommended visiting times as the General Ward apply and again, our staff are very understanding if visits need to be extended.
Parking
Parking is free and is available at the entrance to the hospital and also adjacent to Kimbarra Lodge and Hillcrest Nursing Home.
Disabled Access
Disabled parking and ramp access is available at the front entrance to the Main Hospital Building.

Auxiliary Services and Volunteers
A trolley service providing sweets and basic toiletry items is available Tuesdays and Fridays between the hours of 2:00pm and 3:00pm. This valuable service is run by the Gloucester - Rookhurst Ladies Auxiliary.
