GLEN INNES DISTRICT HEALTH SERVICE

Glen Innes Hospital is a fully accredited health service consisting of 28 beds and four day-chairs. The health service provides surgery, obstetrics, acute medical care, radiology (with ultrasound services), physiotherapy, outpatient services and the emergency department offers a 24-hour service to the community.

The Glen Innes Hospital operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Business hours are 8:00am - 4.:30pm

Visiting hours
Wards: 11:00am - 1:00pm & 3:00pm - 8:00pm
(Rest period 1:00pm - 3:00pm)
Parents / guardians are allowed any time.

The Glen Innes Hospital is accessible at all entrances for people with a disability. Free parking is located at the main entrance.

Relatives' acommodation
Glen Innes Hospital has an accommodation building for staff and relatives of patients with a minimal charge located on the grounds.

Auxiliary services and volunteers
There is a dedicated band of volunteers who come to the hospital on a daily basis and give their time to aid in the comfort of patients. They service the hospital daily with a lollie trolley providing sweets and drinks and other comfort provisions.They are also our major source of fund raising.
