Standard Conditions
- Salary and conditions in accordance with the relevant award.
- Salary packaging available to enable you to increase the value of your week to week net pay.
- Ability to salary sacrifice up to 100% off your pay to a nominated Superannuation Fund.
- Payroll deductions from after-tax salary are available to all employees, with the option of splitting your salary to separate bank accounts to reduce transfer fees and encourage personal financial management.
- Allocated Days Off enable staff to have a period of rest or attend to personal tasks. The number of allocated days off is subject to the relevant award.
- Ability to access pro-rata Long Service Leave after seven years service

We understand the importance of and need for employees to balance their work and family commitments which is supported by the provision of
- Flexible work arrangements
- Access to childcare at John Hunter Hospital, Tamworth, Moree and Lake Macquarie (subject to availability).
- 14 weeks paid maternity leave for female staff in connection with the birth or adoption of a child,
- One week paid parental leave (subject to a qualifying period of employment) for employees whose partner is pregnant or adopting a child.
- Support for employees to actively engage with their own community through the provision of paid leave for the performance of community service (up to three days a year) and while attending jury duty.
- Paid leave is also provided to members of the Naval, Military and Air Force Reserve, whose service is on a part-time basis, to undertake annual training.
