Centre management

Possum Place Child and Vacation Care Centres are administered by Hunter New England Health and are placed under the Workforce Development Portfolio.  The Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of both services and maintenance of Family Day Care Scheme Contracts, and reports to the Area Director, Human Resources.

The Child Care Centre has a Family and Staff Advisory Forum which provides opportunity for all service stakeholders to participate in discussion about service operation e.g. budget, planning, activities etc.  Forums are held six weekly at the child care centre, with prior notice and agenda advertised.

The Vacation Care Centre has a Parent Advisory Committee which meets each school vacation period providing families with an opportunity to discuss service operation and planning.
