Enrolled Nurses are intergral members of the health care team.
Hunter New England Health employs Trainee Enrolled Nurses fulltime for twelve months to complete their training program. We offer a broad-based program that is specifically designed to meet the requirements of the NSW Nurse and Midwives Board. On completion of the program you will be able to enrol with the Nurse and Midwives Board as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse.
The course consists of 15 weeks at TAFE and 37 weeks in a clinical workforce setting - hospitals which have been accredited to be part of the course.

Our program provides a supportive and dynamic environment of learning and development which will enable Trainee Enrolled Nurses to:
• Consolidate clinical knowledge and skills
• Develop confidence and function as a member of a multi disciplinary health care team.
