April Falls Day Forum – Preventing Falls Injury in Older People

Over 170 health workers have registered to take part in the Hunter New England Falls Injury Prevention Forum being held in Newcastle on Monday 31 March.

Falls injuries account for approximately 165 presentations to Emergency Departments in Hunter New England Health EVERY DAY.

The day will showcase best clinical practice to reduce the burden of falls and fall injury in older people.

The first ever NSW Health ‘April Falls Day’ is to be held on 1 April 2008.

When: Monday 31 March, 2008.

Where: Royal Newcastle Centre Lecture Theatre and Conference Rooms
