Maitland EDuCARe Workshop - Community Service Announcement
Hunter New England Health’s carer support team EDuCARE in collaboration with the newly formed Maitland Carer Support Group is holding a free community workshop on the Monday 7 July.
The main purpose of this workshop is to help recruit local carers who provide support to a child or adult who has a disability, mental illness, chronic condition or who is frail aged.
Guest Speaker on the day is Bryan McMinn, Clinical Nurse Consultant from Hunter New England Health who will be speaking on ‘Depression’
The session will also include:
• Meeting member of the Maitland Carer Support Group
• Accessing free carer resources material
• Morning Tea
Bookings are recommended due to catering so call EDuCARE now on 4921 4895. Respite can be arranged.
