An invitation to Newcastle carers: Free information sessions in February

Newcastle and Lake Macquarie carers are being invited to attend a series of free information sessions designed to support them in their role.
EDuCARE Support Service is running the information sessions for two hours each Tuesday commencing on 12 February 2008.
Topics covered include:
- Accessing community services
- Centrelink
- Stress management
- Practical skills for carers
- Where to now
Carers are usually family members or friends who provide support to children or adults who have a disability, mental illness, chronic condition or who are frail aged.
Where: Charlestown Community Room
Charlestown Mall (next to Charlestown Square)
Time: 12.30pm-2.30pm
Cost: Free (a light lunch will be provided)
When: Commencing 12 February and continuing every Tuesday to 18 March
