Generous donations to Moree Renal Unit
24 July 2009
The generosity of the Moree community is on show with new equipment being used for the comfort of patients at Moree District Health Service.
The Moree Renal Committee recently presented the Moree Renal Unit with a new refrigerator which has a temperature alarm to enable patient medications to be stored safely at the correct temperature.
The Committee also paid for magazine subscriptions which will ensure regular delivery of new reading material for dialysis patients.
“The Moree Renal Unit staff and patients are very appreciative of the ongoing support given to them by the Renal Committee,” Registered Nurse from the Moree Renal Unit Jodie Slacksmith said.
“We would like to thank both the committee and the Moree community for their generosity,” she said.
“The staff and patients are very appreciative of the generosity of our community, which goes a long way to improving the comfort of our hospital.”
