Les Murray exhibition at John Hunter Hospital

The John Hunter Hospital Arts for Health Program is pleased to be opening ‘Poetry at John Hunter Hospital’, an exhibition of poetry by poets including the renowned Les Murray, AO. The exhibition will also include portraits of Les Murray by Lee Zaunders.

Les Murray, is one of Australia’s leading poets with a career spanning over 40 years and 30 volumes of poetry.

One of Mr Murray’s works is ‘Travels with John Hunter’ about the three weeks he spent critically ill in John Hunter Hospital as a result of a liver condition.

The exhibition can be viewed in at John Hunter Hospital on Level F2 near Imaging until April 2011.
