Narrabri Community Health lets you breathe easy

Do you require home oxygen and want to find out more information regarding oxygen concentrators?

Narrabri Community Health Service is hosting an Oxygen Workshop at Narrabri RSL Club on 8 July, 2010 to better educate people about the solutions to living life with home oxygen.

The workshop will include information about ‘Hospital to Home’ respiratory supplies, portable and stationary oxygen concentrators and CPAP machines, as well as home setup and fitting.

Portable Oxygen Concentrators allow people to carry on with their normal social life, while still maintaining their health and wellbeing.

Speaking on the day will be Business Director of Inspirational Healthcare Greg Tye who will discuss the benefits of home oxygen in the lives of those who need it.

“The workshop will be incredibly beneficial for those who want more information on portable oxygen, which will allow them to live their lives without the hassle of worrying about where their next breath is coming from,” said Hunter New England Health Asthma Educator Dot Craig.

The day will run in two sessions; the first at 10am for members of the community, and the second at 2pm for Hunter New England Health staff, including those working in Allied Health. Morning and afternoon tea will be provided.

Community members wanting more information or to register their interest in attending the free workshop, can call Dot Craig on 6799 2031.

The Narrabri Community Health Oxygen Workshop will take place at Narrabri RSL Club on 8 July 2010 at 10am for members of the community and 2pm for staff of HNE Health and Allied Health.
