The Lioness Club of Tea Gardens/Hawks Nest has made a generous donation of $2,100 to Bulahdelah Community Hospital.
The funding has been used to purchase a new reverse cycle air conditioner for the hospital’s waiting room.
Bulahdelah Community Hospital Manager Paul Townsend thanked the Lioness club for its continuing support of the hospital.
“We are sincerely grateful to the Lioness Club members who work tirelessly in raising money to support the hospital,” he said.
“The new reverse cycle air conditioner will improve the comfort of patients and visitors during the hot and cold months.”
“We are hoping the new air conditioner will make waiting for friends and relatives receiving treatment in Bulahdelah Hospital a more pleasant experience.”
“I’d also like to thank the community for supporting the Lioness club in their fundraising efforts,” he said.
