Mamma Mia – how can you resist a girl’s night out?
17 October 2008
It will be a Friday night and the lights will be low – if you are looking out for a place to go on 31 October, then look no further than the Girls Night Out fundraiser being planned by Bingara Multi Purpose Service.
Women and girls of all ages are invited to spread the word and get a group together to support the Girls Night Out movie evening being held at Bingara’s Roxy Theatre on Friday 31 October at 7pm.
Spokesperson for the Girls Night Out event, Community Health Nurse Tiffany Galvin, guaranteed the evening would be filled with laughter, fun and frivolity, with guests treated to a screening of Mamma Mia.
“Gather your friends, find some 70’s sparkling sequined bell-bottoms in the back of your closet, and make a night of it – get into the ABBA theme and become dancing queens for a good cause!” Ms Galvin said.
Mamma Mia stars Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan and Julie Walters.
The cost of the evening is $20 per person, for which patrons will receive tickets to the movie, a drink and nibbles prior to the show.
Soft drinks, tea and coffee will be available to enjoy at interval and after the show, with nibbles also being provided. There will also be raffles and lucky door prizes.
Bookings can be made at the Roxy by phoning 6724 0066 and tickets will also be available at the door.
Proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Bingara MPS fundraising committee.
