Chief Executive changes

Hunter New England Health’s Acting Chief Executive has today congratulated Terry Clout on his appointment as Chief Executive of South Eastern Sydney Illawarra Area Health Service.

Terry Clout is currently on secondment from his position as Chief Executive of Hunter New England Health to Northern Sydney Central Coast Area Health Service.

He will continue this secondment until commencing in the CE role at South Eastern Sydney Illawarra at the end of September.

Acting Chief Executive of Hunter New England Health, Dr Nigel Lyons, today congratulated Terry Clout on his appointment.

“Terry’s appointment is recognition of his extensive skills and expertise, and a reflection of his many achievements in health, and I congratulate him on the new role,” Dr Lyons said.

“Hunter New England hospitals and health services have seen outstanding performance over a sustained period, which is a reflection on Terry’s leadership.”

“While I’m sad to see him move on from this organisation, I’m pleased his efforts have been recognised, and also that he will be able to be closer to his family.”

Advertisements for the position of Chief Executive for Hunter New England Health will be placed swiftly. Dr Lyons will continue to act in the role of Chief Executive until recruitment is completed.

“In the meantime, I’m confident that all of our staff will build on the foundations set by Terry and continue our hard work in delivering quality health services to local people.”
