Hunter New England Health is also pleased to announce that Dr Mondal has confirmed his commitment to stay on and provide on-call medical services to Tenterfield Health Service.

General Manager of Tablelands Cluster Wendy Mulligan said Hunter New England Health is working with local GPs on various strategies for improving teamwork amongst the medical staff at Tenterfield as well as how the Health Service could better support local doctors in their roles at Visiting Medical Officers.

“This is a fantastic result for the community. We understand how challenging it can be practicing medicine in a rural setting and we greatly appreciate Dr Mondal’s efforts working with us at Tenterfield Hospital over the past few years”.
