Information needed for booking requests
All interpreter bookings go to a central booking system through the contacts given above. The following information is needed when making a request:
• Language needed
• Time and date of appointment
• Estimated duration of appointment
• Contact name and phone number
• Health professional's name
• Client name and MRN
• Medical condition
• Any special circumstances or needs
**NOTE - Costs are charged for non government and private organisations. Please complete the request form for Interpreter or Translations requests if you are from a Non Governement or Private organisation.**
Information on translation services
We provide free translations for simple health care documents relating directly to a patient.
For translation of complex health documents or information documents relating to funded health programs, please contact the HCIS Manager via emailing firstname.lastname@example.org . These services may incur a fee.
To make a request for translations, phone the booking office on 4924 6285 during business hours (8:30 am – 5:00 pm) or email HNELHD-MulticulturalHealth@hnehealth.nsw.gov.au
