Courses

The Hospital Skills Program is sponsoring a suite of immersive simulation-based crisis management courses in 2020. 

Paediatric Emergency Presentations - Wednesday 13 February

  • Develop a systematic approach to the early recognition and stabilisation of paediatric emergencies occurring in the ED or on the ward.

 Adult and Paediatric Emergencies - Friday 26 June

  • Develop a systematic approach to the early recognition and stabilisation of paediatric and adult emergencies occurring in the ED or on the ward.

Mother & Newborn Emergencies - Thursday 4 November

  • Develp a systematic approach to the early recognition and stabilisation of obstetric and newborn emergencies presenting to the ED. Content will include neonatal resuscitation.

Adult Emergency Presentations - Monday 6 April & Thursday 10 September

  • Develop a systemic approach to the early recognition and stabilisation of adult emergencies occurring in the ED or on the ward. Content will include a trauma case. 

Cost

Registration fees for eligible HNE doctors and nursing staff are sponsored by the
Hospital Skills Program.

Cancellation policy

Please note: In the event of non-attendance, including failure to comply with the HNE Simulation Centre cancellation policy, doctors will be charged $480 + GST.
