To prepare anaesthesia providers for managing major haemorrhage


This half day course:

  • uses a combination of facilitated discussions and simulations to help participants develop and practise the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to manage major haemorrhage and the complications that arise
  • including cardiovascular instability and coagulopathy
  • will satisfy the ANZCA 2014 CPD program requirements for Major Haemorrhage
  • promotes a team-based approach and anaesthesia assistants are encouraged to attend with their medical colleagues
