Mosquitoes
Living with Mosquitoes in the Lower Hunter and Mid-North Coast Regions
The aims of this site and a project by the same name are to raise awareness of mosquitoes, their role in the environment, and issues surrounding nuisance biting and public health risks. It is also intended that the information provided in the strategy will be used to ensure a consideration of mosquito issues in urban planning and development, and wetland management plans; and that the community is informed of personal protection strategies available to minimise exposure to mosquitoes.
