Patients are visited and treated in their home or other place of residence (e.g. Aged Care Facility).

Referrals are accepted from Maitland Hospital Emergency Deparment and wards, as well as other hospitals in the area, including private hospitals, GP and Specialist rooms.

Services provided include:

Anticoaulation
Intravenous antibiotics
Allied Health interventions
Monitoring and education
Falls, mobility and safety management
Post operative drain and wound care

Referrals are accepted for the following conditions:

Deep Vein Thrombosis
Pulmonary Embolis
Atrial Fibrillation
Cellulitis
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Urinary Tract Infections
Pyelonephritis
Urinary Retention
Asthma
Post Orthopaedic Care

This service operates 7 days a week from 8am to 5pm. There is no on call services operating outside of these hours.

Catchment area is the Matiland Local Government Area, plus Tarro, Beresfield, Raymond Terrace, Kurri, Weston, Branxton, Greta and Patterson.
