Education for Advance Care Planning can be accessed in a variety of flexible, accessible ways:

Face-to-face learning

The Advance Care Planning Unit offers inservicing, workshops and information sessions for community groups. Please contact the unit to discuss any of these options.

Flexible delivery

Online learning is available to staff of the Hunter New England Area Health Service.
'The Advance Care Planning Awareness Program' is an education program designed to give participants and overview of Advance Care Planning. It is a flexible delivery program that can be accessed via any HNE Health computer.

HNE Health staff can access myLink by going to the HNE Health intranet homepage and either using the site index option (go to M for mylink) or by clicking on the myLink icon located under the 'tools and resources' section of the home page. Once the myLink homepage open, click on the 'Clinical' tab option on the right hand side of the page, and then click on the 'Advance Care Planning' option.

To maintain the integrity of the HNE myLink site, you are required to login as a registered site user prior to commencing the ACP awareness module. To do this, you will need a general HNE Health computer login name and password (not your email login and password).
