Achievement Awards
The Hunter New England Health Achievement Awards Gala dinner is held each year to celebrate many of the innovative projects and outstanding individuals and teams across our health service.
This year, the Gala dinner will be held on Thursday 10 September in Newcastle. The Gala dinner coincides with the two-day Hunter New England Health Quality Expo and Scientific Program.

The Quality Awards recognise the excellent work of HNE Health staff in increasing the standards of health improvement and patient care through continually improving service delivery. The Quality Awards also act as the filter to a number of external awards, including the Aboriginal Health Awards, NSW Health Awards, and the NSW Premier’s Awards. The Staff Achievement Awards encourage and reward outstanding performance and are open to all individuals and teams from across the Area. These awards are a celebration of the exceptional contribution health service staff have made in their roles and to their communities. Attendance at the 2009 Achievement Awards Dinner is primarily reserved for finalists of the Area's Quality Awards and Staff Achievement Awards.
