Achievement Awards

Achievement Awards

The Staff Achievement Awards encourage and reward outstanding performance and are open to all individuals and teams from across the organisation. These awards are a celebration of the exceptional contribution health service staff and volunteers have made in their roles and to their communities.

Any Hunter New England Health permanent, casual or temporary staff member, Visiting Medical Officer or volunteer can nominate themselves, or a colleague for an award.

This year a new category has been introduced – Teacher of the Year. This award is designed to recognise teachers, both clinical and non-clinical, who have demonstrated an outstanding contribution to enhancing the quality of learning, as essential to either patient care or ongoing staff development.
