Governance
The Chief Executive is responsible for the overall governance of Hunter New England Health.
To ensure effective governance in an efficient manner, the Chief Executive will establish committees to undertake various governance functions and to report on committee work. These committees are:
- Area Clinical Council Committees (New England and Hunter)
- Medical and Dental Appointments Committee
- Clinical Ethics Committee
- Aboriginal Health Partnership Committee
- Human Research Ethics Committee
- Audit and Risk Management Committee
The Chief Executive will also establish committees to assist with the effective operational management of the health service.
- Area Executive Team Committee
- Quality Committee
- Finance and Resource Committee
- Multicultural Health Committee
- Area Joint Consultative Committee
