This is a key role providing education and support to staff in the Palliative Care nursing team. You are an experienced Registered Nurse with postgraduate qualifications in Palliative Care (or equivalent) with at least five years full time equivalent post registration experience. As a naturally caring person, ready to take on a leadership role within Palliative Care. You will be joining a close knit team in a regional area of NSW. Working in a regional area allows you to gain a competitive advantage by accessing a wider range of patients and diverse caseloads. You will help to build a positive, professional work culture.
Your accountabilities will include providing expert client centred clinical advice and consultancy to patients, carers and other health care professionals. You will be required to liaise with other senior nursing and midwifery roles working within the specialty to ensure that clinical knowledge is kept current and networks are built and maintained.
