Barraba Silo Mural

The Barraba Silo Mural is an incredible work on 40m high silos, located at the Southern entrance to Barraba on Manilla Road. The Water Diviner Mural also features the Regent Honeyeater bird which is critically endangered and renowned for being seen in the district. The mural was completed in 2019 by Fintan Magee a Sydney-based, internationally-recognised artist. Since 2019, the silos have attracted visitors from all over Australia.

The Fuller Gallery and Claypan

The Fuller Gallery and Claypan has been owned and operated by The Barraba Potters Guild for over 40 years. The Gallery and Guild is run totally by volunteers and is usually open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and some Saturdays. Visit to see the exhibits of art, craft and pottery made by members of the Potters Guild.

Nandewar Historical Society Museum

The Barraba Historical Museum is run by the Nandewar Historical Society who works to preserve the history of Barraba and its surrounding districts. There are many fascinating items and pieces in the museum including the history of pioneering families, mining, agriculture and military heritage and Indigenous social, business, domestic and educational histories. The volunteers in the Society have a wealth of knowledge and history, they are happy to share. If you wish to visit the museum, it will open on request, just go to the Visitor Centre and ask.

​The Shed of Knowledge

The Shed of Knowledge is run by Ron Hiscock and his wife Helen who have compiled a private collection of everything from bottles to war memorabilia, photos and more. The Shed, located in their back yard on 53 Henry Street, is well worth a visit to explore this comprehensive display.
